This digitally projected map table tells the history of settlement in Ipipiri (The Bay of Islands, NZ). From the first Maori settlers to the arrival of Europeans there has been large changes in the landscape and the people who reside there.
Dusk was tasked with designing and visualising the animated stories projected onto the physical landscape (carved by a CNC cutter). Working closely with the masterminds of the project StoryInc, we came up with some memorable moments of animated storytelling which engages all ages.
